George A. Boyle (1826-1899) British
George Boyle was an English landscape artist who painted "En Plein Air" in oil, he exhibited at the Royal Academy in London in the 1880's. It is not known if George Boyle painted in Barbizon in France but his works certainly show many similarities to this pioneering school of artists, particularly in the sensitive rendition of soft and silvery light.
