Gaynor Elizabeth Bury studied at the Royal Academy Schools where she won a Creswick Prize for landscape painting and a silver medal. She travelled and painted in France and the Channel Islands exhibiting at the Royal Academy, the Royal Institute and the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool.
