Alexander Astahov (b.1955) Russian
Born in Russia in 1955 Alexander Astahov studied at the Moscow Surikov Art Institute. In 1982, Astahov began working as a professor at the Bryansk School of Painting, specialising in graphical arts. In 1995 he became a member of the Artist Union List of Russia. He is known for his colourful interiors paying homage to the great masters, his signature is a butterfly.
