Although best known as an award winning architect, Leslie Gooday was also an accomplished artist. As one would expect his draughtsmanship was outstanding, to this he added an unusual and playful sense of perspective and composition. A passionate water-colourist he was a member of Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour.
